Scrapbooks includes Baskin's 16 Oct. 1920 speech denouncing the League of nation and pronouncing his support of high tarrifs and women's rights; numerous newspaper clippings of poetry highlighting World War I, patriotism, politicians, and Kentucky; parodies of popular songs lampooning Kentucky political figures; Kentucky Bar Association programs; a commemorative program from the opening of the Pendennis Club in Louisville (Ky.); and several newspaper clippings regarding the shooting of Henry Clay's grandson in 1884.
